Spicy North African Pasta Sauce

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef or lamb
2 small tomatoes, chopped
1/3 sweet onion, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

20 ounces tomato sauce
1 1/2 tablespoon harissa hot sauce
1/2 tablespoon lemon juice

Your choice of pasta
1/4 lb Feta Cheese

Directions
Combine all the ingredients except for the tomato sauce, harissa and lemon juice in a large frying pan and stir at medium-high heat until fully cooked (approximately 5-8 minutes). Drain the excess liquid and discard. Place the rest in a stock pot. Add the tomato sauce, harissa & lemon juice, and let simmer at low heat for 15 minutes. Add finishing salt and serve over your favorite pasta with crumbled feta on top of the sauce. Serves 4-6.
