Fatayer are a type of Arabic empanada, folded in a triangular shape and stuffed with a variety of fillings. At the Mediterranean Bakery, we make fatayer stuffed with ground beef, spinach, and spinach and feta cheese, in addition to other savory pastries of different shapes (safiha, sembousek, and spanakopita).

Our spinach fatayer are stuffed with a delicious blend of spinach and diced onion, lightly flavored with salt, sumac and lemon juice, and baked to golden brown in our very own stone oven. Like all of our prepared foods, our spinach fatayer are made with all-natural ingredients, with no artificial chemicals or preservatives of any kind.
